Erika hails from the great state of Texas by way of "The Chocolate City" (Washington D.C.) Raised in a family of fierce southern women who know how to "throw down!" in the kitchen, she has loved to cook and eat since birth. Her childhood dream was to become Julia Child...but with an afro and attitude. She considers all food "Soul Food" when the one doing the cooking puts their heart and their "foot" in it. You better believe she can cook like nobody's business!
